TSMiracle's Massage Interview
Do you remember your first client ? Tell us something about that first day when you decided to be a Masseur!
The 1st day I became a masseur was many years ago but I'll never forget it. It was a summer day many years ago, as I hadn't had much to do because I was out of college for the summer semester. So I choose to start doing massages in my spare time for a gentleman who really needs a massage. After, giving him the much needed relaxation he'd expressed to me his wife recently passed and my touch was reassuring for him. He hadn't had a massage since the passing of his wife. So for that I'll always remember him as a 1st client of mine.
Do you consider yourself a successful Masseur?
Yes, I'm an expert I have over 6+ years of experience.
Tell us a little about yourself, if you were to pick something what would you like your clients to absolutely know about you?
I'm a very communicative individual, I love people I'm truly a "People Person". I'm the one you'd call if you're looking to talk, laugh, but also mysterious. I'm not a judgmental person I lead life in an honest way. Also, I love to help people no matter how that may look individually.
Some people say that being a Masseur is addictive. Would you miss your Masseur days ?
I would miss it actually I have missed it if I must be honest I took a lengthy period of time off so glad to be back.
How would you like someone that contacts you for a massage to feel when they leave?
I'd like some to feel satisfied, happy, hoping they'd want to share the massage experience again.
What are your hobbies, what do you like to do in your spare time?
I do alot of audio documentaries I enjoy learning about history and social history. When I'm not doing that I'm doing legal work for the fight against the LGBTQ-IA community.
Why did you become a Masseur?
To please others to make them happy believe it or not a large % of body stimulation comes from being massaged.
What advice would you give to someone who wants to be a Masseur?
Stay true to what you want to do never allow the "noise" to quiet the mission ahead.
What distinguishes you from all the other Masseurs?
What distinguishes me from other Masseurs has to be my connectivity I'd say. I don't view my cleints as such, when they are in my presence they receive 5star treatment. As I'd lie to be treated, also I try and make my clients feel as much as home as possible.
How long have you been a Masseur and how long do think you'd like to continue?
I've been a Masseur for over 6+years. Do I plans on continuing this journey that I cant speak much towards but I will add, I'm not leaving anytime soon.
How often do you travel? Do you prefer to travel or are you more of a homebody?
I don't travel as often as I used to. I"m certainly a homebody enjoy being home, or shall I say enjoy being wherever the Peace resides.
Is extensive training necessary for a Masseur in order to be successful?
Yes, constant trial and error we as Massage Therapists must effectively do our jobs because we're closely dealing with others bodies.
How do you like clients to feel about the experience when they leave?
My mission when my clients leave is to be assured that the job I'm so greatly skilled in is not only rewarded, but also making others feel their best.
