MiaHands's Massage Interview
Some people say that being a Masseur is addictive. Would you miss your Masseur days ?
This is the best way to establish a connection. Even after giving countless sessions, I am always surprised by how clients begin as strangers and leave as long lost buddies. I am very tactile and love getting in deep. I also love reminding myself and my clients that we are more than just physical, we are eternal sources of energy and light.
Do you remember your first client ? Tell us something about that first day when you decided to be a Masseur!
Yes, he always brought me a bottle of red wine from his cellar. It was a good cabernet from Napa. This was in Los Angles. When I returned to New York, he booked a four-handed massage with my best friend. He is a sweetheart.
Tell us a little about yourself, if you were to pick something what would you like your clients to absolutely know about you?
I'm highly creative and always finding ways to express that. The atmosphere of my massage services reflects that.
What are your hobbies, what do you like to do in your spare time?
I chant and play guitar.
What distinguishes you from all the other Masseurs?
I'm always told that I am one of the best massage therapists out there. Some of that is having a natural talent for touch, but a lot is because my performance background allows me to really understand the body as well as the balance between body and mind.
How often do you travel? Do you prefer to travel or are you more of a homebody?
I travel for fun, but rarely do I travel out to a client. I feel safer at home.
How do you like clients to feel about the experience when they leave?
I want them to feel loved.
